Education

Puente’s Education programs aim to bridge the resource and opportunity gap faced in our communities. Our early education efforts aim to address the parenting challenges faced in the rural South Coast: childcare and parent isolation. Through our three youth programs, we focus on supporting academic and economic growth to prepare youth for life after high school, whether that’s pursuing higher education or entering the workforce. And for our adults, we provide classes targeting their most pressing needs, English as a Second Language and Computer Literacy skills. By providing these programs, we believe that we are supporting the successful development and sustainability of not only our participants, but also our communities.
