Share the Joy of the Season
On the South Coast we are busily preparing for our end of year holiday celebrations –
Hanukkah, Christmas, and our annual posadas. These festivals of light and welcome remind us that we are united in our longing for community and deeper connection.
At Puente, we are united with our diverse community comprised of farmworkers, farmers, teachers, students, rich and poor living, hoping, and striding for a better world every day.
2017 has been a difficult year for many on the South Coast and throughout the nation.
Immigrants, undocumented, and low-income working communities have been under attack. This holiday season is a time for all of us to come together, take care of each other, celebrate one another, and show our strength in unity as part of the resistance to intolerance and racism.
We are only able to do our work because of the generosity of people like you.
November 28th is Giving Tuesday and this year you can double your support to Puente and the South Coast community. All Donations made by November 28th will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to the generous support of an anonymous donor.
Help us reach $17,000! Your contributions will support our Holiday Gift cards for families and children. We are actively collecting Safeway, Mi Pueblo, Ross, and Target gift cards in $50 denominations. Please make a contribution and designate your gift towards Holiday Programs.
Winter Items and Gift Cards for Children and Families
Your contributions can be matched through the end of the year!
The Sobrato Family Foundation will match gifts from new donors, increased individual donations compared to the previous year and contributions from lapsed donors dollar for dollar through the end of 2017. Double your support to Puente.
