Child Safety: Puente Car Seat Event

According tcarseato Safe Kids, a global organization dedicated to preventing injuries in children, car crashes remain the number one killer of children ages 3-14 in the United States. Also, 4 out of 5 car seats are being used incorrectly. It can take up to 12 years for a child to be big enough for safety belts — close to 5 feet tall and between 80 and 100 pounds. Until children reach that size and weight, they need to use car seats or booster seats for protection in case of a crash. There are three levels of car seats before children are ready for seat belts.
