Second Annual Puente 5k/10k Fun Run/Walk, August 16!
Join us for our second annual 5k and first ever 10k Fun Run and walk. The run/walk kicks off with a Zumba warm up outside Puente’s office (620 North St. in Pescadero). Delicious snacks and drinks will be waiting after the run/walk. All proceeds benefit Puente and its mission to promote health and wellness throughout the South Coast. Registration is $12 if you sign up before August 1, $15 after August 1. Details and registration here.
Driver’s license info session with Puente and the DMV, August 19
On January 1 of next year, undocumented Californians will be able to apply for a driver’s license. Join Puente and representatives of the California Department of Motor Vehicles for an evening information session detailing the ins and outs of the process to obtain a license, from paperwork to the driving exam. August 19, 7 p.m. in the Pescadero Elementary School Multipurpose Room.
Fall Harvest Fundraiser
Join Puente as we celebrate our 16th Anniversary at Harley Farms for an afternoon of conversation with Puente neighbors, supporters, volunteers, and friends. The afternoon will include a bounty of delicious hyperlocal foods, including Harley Farms award winning cheeses.
The afternoon will includea tour of Harley Farms, a restored 1910 dairy farm, with 200 alpine goats on nine acres of pasture in Pescadero.

Pescadero Grown! Farmers’ Market every Thursday
Join Puente and all your neighbors at the Pescadero Grown! Certified Community Farmers’ Market in Pescadero every Thursday this summer from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Live music, kids’ activities, free bike repair, and the freshest hyperlocal produce in the region await you. Come sample the season’s delights! 251 Stage Road (Next to Pescadero Country Store).
