Santa comes to Story Time

Thanks to Puente’s friends at CAL Fire, Santa Claus made a trip from the North Pole to visit children at Story Time. A little daunted at first by Santa’s appearance, the children settled into singing lively versions of Old MacDonald and We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Thanks to Story Time moms for preparing a delicous lunch as well as to the following individuals for providing beautiful items for a bag for each child and his/her mother: Marta Drury (puppets), Valerie Markham (handmade wooden toys), Knitzvah (knitted and crocheted toys, hats and scarves), and Austin Hall (felted blankets). Thanks to Story Time leaders, Norma Zavala and Martina Tello. Martina was unable to join us today — feel better Martina!
