Back to school!!!

South Coast students are ready for school.

Pre-K student is ready for school with her first backpack.

School is back in session and Puente handed out 200 backpacks to local South Coast students in need of materials! We’re so grateful to the many individuals and organizations that helped gather backpacks and supplies:

  • Genentech for donating all backpacks
  • Laura and Courtney Cunneen — two Pacifica high school students who led a supplies drive in Pacifica for a second year and raised over $1,000
  • Peery and Associates, who donated 50 scientific calculators
  • Community Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Benicia
  • Peninsula Metropolitan Community Church
  • Sonrisas Dental Clinic

    • Special thanks to Rev. Teri Echelbarger for leading the Back Pack Project during her sabbatical at Puente.
