Pescadero resident Maria (“Coco”) Socorro tells the story of her mother’s catholicism and father’s alcoholism, and how it affected her life. South Coast says farewell to Julia Wilson
The South Coast community says farewell to Public Health Nurse, Julia Wilson.
Julia recently retired from the San Mateo County Department of Health after nearly 30 years of service. Julia was a calm and steady presence for countless number of South Coast residents who needed her help with navigating the often complex County health systems. A tireless advocate, Julia was never daunted by coastal flooding, wet roads or complicated health issues. Julia helped create the 21st Century Puente and we look forward to her work with us as a volunteer.
