Dia de los Niños

Pescadero’s annual children’s literacy festival returns to Puente on April 27th from 6 to 8 p.m. We invite families to come and play, receive books and school supplies and share a meal, all to remind our children how important they are to us and plant a seed about the delights of reading. College Tours

April 10 and 12, Puente youth staff and students from Pescadero High School will visit and tour California State University Monterey Bay, Santa Clara University and San José State University. Unlike traditional college tours, students will meet with faculty, college students, student services staff – and even get to tour some dorms. Summer Youth Program

Puente is currently accepting applications for its Summer Youth Program. More than 35 local youth apply every summer to be part of Puente’s summer programs, which include work training and employment opportunities, recreational field trips, internships, college tours, and presentations on local sustainable farming practices. Pescadero Grown! Farmer’s Markets

Puente’s hugely successful farmer’s markets are back for a second year with oodles of fresh produce from local farmers and ranchers. The Pescadero market begins May 3 (every Thursday), and the La Honda market begins May 8 (every Tuesday). Both markets will takeplace from 3 to 7 p.m. For details,click here.
