Summer Youth Staff goes to UTI and Cal State Sacramento

On July 8 a group of youth visited Universal Technical Institute in Sacramento and California State University Campus Sacramento.

The group toured both campus facilites and learn about their academic program, resources available, work field, costs and other information good for them to consider when their time come to apply for college.

Wells Fargo opens bank accounts for La Sala participants

Representatives from Wells Fargo Bank in Half Moon Bay, and Region 1 Migrant Education, attended La Sala yesterday to present a program on financial literacy. 25% of the farm and nursery workers opened special checking and savings accounts.
