More than 75 adults and children gathered to enjoy a home-cooked meal prepared by students enrolled in LHPUSD’s 6th Grade Academy. The students have been working all year in conjunction with the food lab to grow and cook healthy foods. Thanks to all for a great evening.

Since its inception, Puente has offered classes to those for whom English is their second language (ESL). After a year of study, students in Levels 1 and 2 evening and morning classes held a graduation program where they received certificates for their work. They had a celebration afterwards with a small party.  Congratulations to the students and ESL teachers for all their hard work and dedication. Thanks to the Silicon Valley Community Foundation for their support of Puente’s Learning Center Programs.
