On Mother’s Day weekend, the men from the La Sala program took a trip to the San Francisco Zoo. Twenty-two and ½ men attended: Juan Pedro took his ne-born baby, Jr.. They really enjoyed seeing the wild animals. Some of the men who went have been attending the ESL classes at Puente. Hence, they got a chance to practice what they have learned. Ruben read information about the animals to his colleagues. The weather was perfect, so we were able to enjoy our lunch outside the courtyards while watching the flying creatures.

Another successful Puente gathering
Hosts and Puente supporters, Gene Lebel and Gael Solos, provided Puente guests with a magical afternoon at their home overlooking Pigeon Point Lighthouse. Thanks, Gael and Gene, for bringing community awareness to Puente youth programs.
