Live Nativity procession will start at St. Anthony’s Church at 696 North Street at 5:30PM followed by program at the Pescadero Community Church (363 Stage Road) and Pescadero Elementary School (620 North Street). All are welcome, rain or shine.

There will be music, food, raffle, and Santa will be giving out stockings to the children!

La procesión con el nacimiento viviente comenzará en la iglesia de San Antonio, 696 North Street, seguida por un programa en la Iglesia Comunitaria de Pescadero y en el Multipurpose Room de Escuela Elementaria. Todos son bienvenidos, cualquiera que sea el tiempo.

Habrá música, comida, rifa y Santa estará dando botas a los niños!

October marks Dia de los Muertos at Puente

Puente marked Dia de los Muertos on October 31 from 3-7 PM at Pescadero Grown Farmer’s Market on October 31 at Pescadero Grown Farmer’s Market with an altar, complete with photos, bread of the dead and more. Dia de los Muertos is a traditional Meso-American holiday dedicated to the ancestors; it honors both death and the cycle of life and celebrates the thin veil between life and death. More than 40 participants attended a four-week series of workshops preparing for the special day. Many thanks to the San Francisco Foundation and Bella Vista Foundation for providing support for the event as well as our many volunteers and friends at Pescadero Elementary School.

Take the Puente 2013 Community Health Survey

In July, Puente began going door to door in Pescadero and performing health care surveys. The purpose of this survey is to gather information about how South Coast residents currently access health care services, with the goal of improving access to services for all residents. Your willingness to complete the survey will help Puente to better serve your health-related needs and those of your neighbors. We are now reaching further and hope to get information from a wider range of community members.  Help us out by completing the survey online if you haven’t already done it in person!
