Pescadero Grown!

What does hyper-local mean? It means that the fruits and veggies are all grown within a few miles of the market. It means the grass-fed beef is raised just up the road. Everything sold at the market is more than just buying food, it is an investment in our agricultural community. Celebrating 7 years in Pescadero and has blossomed into more than just a Farmers’ Market – it’s a place:

• Where you can buy local, healthy food.
• Where local farmers can sell their products to their neighbors
• Where families and neighbors can enjoy a positive and active space together.
• To learn that healthy eating is the root of healthy living • Free Bike Repair
• Activities for Children
• Region Finest Music

Meet the Farmers and Vendors

Fly Girl Farm

*Non-certified organic Airielle of Fly Girl Farm is in her first year of production, but has been working on other farms for the past seven years. She cultivates her beautiful dry-farmed early girl tomatoes, strawberries, assorted zucchini, salad greens, and flowers on a 1 acre field.

Blue House Farm

We grow an incredible diversity of certified organic vegetables, fruits and cut flowers year-round, on 40 acres nestled at the end of a small agricultural valley in Pescadero, California. We specialize in strawberries, tomatoes, leafy greens and peppers, growing diverse varieties of impeccable quality that have gained us a loyal following throughout the Bay Area.

Farmageddon

Farmageddon is a small family run farm near Davenport California. The health of our community begins with the food it eats. We strive to deliver the freshest produce and eggs to local markets and restaurants.

Left Coast Grassfed

LeftCoastGrassFed is part of TomKat Ranch L.L.C. located in the picturesque coastal town of Pescadero, California. At LeftCoastGrassFed™, we feel allowing our cattle to free forage on the natural grasses is the best way to take care of our land and a more humane way to take care of our animals. With a healthier animal, we can offer a healthier cut of meat.

Tokens Program: A Market for All

To help fill the gap and get more farm-direct produce into the hands of low-income neighbors

In2011, Puente and its many community partners created Pescadero Grown Tokens, a wooden token-based matching program for recipients of CalFresh and FMNP/FVC WIC, as well as other low-income participants living in Pescadero, La Honda, Loma Mar, and San Gregorio.

Low-income shoppers will not only be able to redeem their CalFresh and FMNP/FVC WIC Program benefits at the Pescadero market, they will also be able to enroll in the CalFresh (food stamps) program while shopping. In addition, purchases local income customers who are not eligible for WIC or CalFresh will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $20.
