Since its inception, Puente has offered classes to those for whom English is their second language (ESL). After a year of study, students in Levels 1 and 2 evening and morning classes held a graduation program where they received certificates for their work. They had a celebration afterwards with a small party.  Congratulations to the students and ESL teachers for all their hard work and dedication. Thanks to the Silicon Valley Community Foundation for their support of Puente’s Learning Center Programs.

Students at Pescadero High School received awards based on achievements, from sports trophies to most-improved in classes such as English and math. Teachers were praised for their dedication to all their students.
