Wendy Taylor Legacy Circle

When Rev. Wendy Taylor founded Puente in 1998, she envisioned a vital organization that would live beyond her tenure as executive director.

How appropriate, then, that we name our Planned Giving Circle after our founder and that she and her partner, Ellen Sweetin would become our first members. By including Puente de la Costa Sur (Puente) in your estate plans – estate gifts, wills, trusts, retirement plans, and insurance policies – you have a wonderful way to ensure that Puente’s work can be carried on into the future, long after you’re gone. It’s a way to make your mark, to ensure the legacy you leave is a legacy of justice. If you have an estate plan, make sure to remember Puente. If you have not yet thought about what will happen after you’re gone, we encourage you to do so, as spelling out your wishes will make a difficult and emotional time much easier for your friends and family.
