Puente was one of thousands of organizations throughout the United States that organized an earthquake drill for its staff, program participants in our ESL for Women classes, and their children.
Puente also presented disaster preparedness information at its PescaderoGrown! Farmers Markets in Pescadero and La Honda as well as signed up community members for First AID and CPR Classes.
The disaster preparation activities are funded in part by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
